Edit an Item on a Price List or Order Form

To edit an item on an existing price list or order form, go to Orders > Manage Lists and Forms > Edit. Select the Items tab and locate the item. Click Add or Edit to see the Edit Item Row dialog box. After making your selections, click OK to save your changes.

Category
Assign the item to an existing category.

Description
Optional. A value here will be displayed instead of the item’s QuickBooks description on the list or form.

Image
Standard Image (pop up). File can be in PNG, JPEG, or GIF format. Size limit is 200KB and the dimensions should be no larger than 800px by 800px. Click Select to choose an existing image or click Choose File to upload a new image.

Thumbnail
Thumbnail Image. File can be in PNG, JPEG, or GIF format. Size limit is 200KB and the dimensions should be no larger than 80px by 80px. Click Select to choose an existing image or click Choose File to upload a new image.

Price
The price override on forms overrides the QuickBooks item price. When pricing is displayed for customers with a QuickBooks price level assigned, the price override will be affected.

• If the customer does not have a QuickBooks price level, the override price replaces the QuickBooks item price.
• If the customer has a QuickBooks fixed percentage price level, the override price replaces the QuickBooks item price, then the fixed percentage discount is calculated using the override price.
• If the customer has a QuickBooks per-item price level, the per-item price level price is displayed if the item has a price in the “Custom Price” column on the per-item price level. If the item does not have a price in the “Custom Price” column on the per-item price level, the override price replaces the QuickBooks item price.

Validations
Min. Qty. means that this item’s quantity must be greater than or equal to the value used here.
Qty. Mult. means that this item’s quantity must be a multiple of the value used here.
Max. Qty. means that this item’s quantity must be less than or equal to the value used here.

Display
By checking Do not display to customers, this item will not appear on the form in the customer portal view.

Scope
By checking Update this item on all forms, the item attributes (excluding categories) will be updated on all forms on which the item appears.
